LORO JONGGRANG


Once upon a time, there was a kingdom named prambanan. All the people live in peaceful. However, their happiness was disturbed by pengging kingdom. Bandung bondowoso was the king and he wanted to occupy the prambanan. Prambanan and pengging kingdom could not avoid the war. Prambanan lost the war and bandung bondowoso won the war because he had a supernatural power.
Bandung bondowoso’s soldier were not only human, but also genies. And they always do what bandung bandawoso asked to them. King of prambanan had a beatifull daughter ,her name was loro jonggrang and bandung bondowoso fell in love with her and wanted to marry her.
However, loro jonggrang so hated him because bandung bondowoso made her people suffered. Loro jonggrang said to bandung bondowoso if he wanted to marry her, he should make 1000 temple bandung bondowoso just in one night. Although he though it was impossible, but he did not give up and agree to loro jonggrang .
Then all his genies worked to make 1000 temples. They worked so fast that make loro jonggrang scared because she did not want to marry bandung bondowoso. Then she had an idea to tell all ladies in the village to burn the straw and make some noise by pounding the mortar. He genies will think the sun was going to rise and they will run because genies are afraid of sunlight, and it worked.
Bandung bondowoso was so angry. He knew loro jonggrang just tricked him, and he only need one temple more. He said ‘ I already have 999 temples and I just need one more. Now I will make you the one thousandth temple”. The his supernatural power work and loro jonggrang became a temple. Until now, the temple is standing still in prambanan area,central java. And the temple named loro jonggrang temple.
